RACE 1: THE FORERUNNER

THE FORERUNNER has been lightly raced in South Africa. In each of his outings he progressed and can make a winning start. His training has been consistent. BIRTHDAY BOY has been a bit of a disappointment, failing to conclude in the latter stages. His trainer might use a different tactic this time. SECRET IDEA has dropped in rating, will be in the box seat.

RACE 2: STAR OF ZEUS

STAR OF ZEUS is a changed horse; he could have been unbeaten this season. C.Segeon is very confident he can make the double and is his best chance of the day. In a fairly open contest, EIGHT CITIES and MAN FROM SEATTLE might finish in the placings. Beware of MR GREEN STREET, his trainer has a silent hope. JALS TIGER needs to re-discover his form, one for the future.

RACE3: CASH CALL

A very promising race with CASH CALL, WELL CONNECTED and DYNAMITE JACK as potential winners. J.Allyhosain rode him to perfection last time and in this form should win again. DYNAMITE JACK had a good debut and will be there again. If there will be a surprise it will be TARANAKI, N.Juglall has promised to win on this horse.

RACE4: GIMMETHERAIN

After an eye-catching debut GIMMETHERAIN should run a good race and trained to win. His connections have high hopes and considers him a better horse than SEATTLE KID. The latter has been very consistent but faces a tough task this time. N.Juglall won three times with PADDINGTONS LUCK, his first run this season every chance to win as he likes to run fresh.

RACE 5: BADAWEE

INAUGURATION is coming back after being sidelined with some health issues. Has nothing to prove and this race will make him fitter. BADAWEE is an honest performer, and needs to have everything in his favour to win. R.Joorawon has the art of settling his horses and has a very good chance to score. DOLLAR TRACTOR has changed yards and S.Narang has vowed to the owners a win this season.

RACE 6: ARABIAN AIR

ARABIAN AIR deserved to win last time. His trainer failed to understand what the jockey tried to do even if his saddle slipped a bit, hands and heels would have been enough. The horse has been entered many times and scratched and we wonder why. In top condition ARABIAN AIR should offer J M Henry his second win. With jockey J.Allyhosain suspension looming, he promised to bring GUNSTON home. He had some very good spurts and won’t be a surprise if he gets the better of ARABIAN AIR.

RACE 7: VASCOSTREETTRACTOR

The opposition seems a bit weak and VASCOSTREETTRACTOR should make it again. His main threat will be IDEAL SECRET who did nothing wrong in his recent runs, the jockey could be the difference. The remaining has lots to do to feature.

RACE 8: SKIP THE RED

SKIP THE RED has never disappointed his trainer, won five races in a row with three different jockeys. Unfortunately, this little champ had some serious issues and a long layoff. He might have lost that burst of acceleration but his recent runs have been very promising and his trainer hopes to see him win again. TYRIAN will be there after a very good second place. DO OR DARE is a promising sort who will win this season.

RACE 9: PRIDE ROCK

FAIRBANKS was tipped to cause a small upset last time but couldn’t do much against STAR OF ZEUS. Been very good in training and can open his account. Out of the rest MIDDLE PATH seems to be the more reliable. D.David was furious on his last run as his mount was inconvenienced. TYRANDEUS ran an improved race and progress is expected. PRIDE ROCK connections is confident the horse will perform well and expect nothing less than a win
