RACE 1: ROCHESTER

A very open race, with many of whom can feature. O.SOLA has promised to redeem himself after the disappointment of COURTROOM MAGIC. He promised to the A.PERDRAU connections to try it all. He will be a big threat in this. We cannot write off JET PATH, especially if he has a soft lead. TIME IS GOLD will need to do more. VALERIN’s last race is to be ignored, will be a big player. SEVENTH SILVER and MIDNIGHT MESSENGER are decent outsiders. ROCHESTER was somehow unlucky as he did not have a clear run, when he found the light he finished nicely. N.BATCHAMEAH has been under enormous criticism because of his displays and rightly so. So far he’s been very poor, he has a golden chance to restore his reputation.

RACE 2: EAGLES VISION

Nothing much to pick from in this one. A speculative vote goes to EAGLES VISION, he was well fancied by his connections last time out. J.ALLYHOSAIN has been booked to give him the best of chances. P.NAGADOO has been a huge disappointment so far, their horses hardly feature. They have invested a lot this year, but their reluctance to have a stable jockey is proving hurtful for them. We are hearing not everyone is happy how the stable is being run. HIGH KEY was heavily fancied last time, don’t write him off. WEST COAST WARRIOR ran an improved race. MR GREEN STREET is an in and out performer. STARSKY is dropping in class, and will be a big threat if he gets a soft lead. DESERT THIEF will go close.

RACE3: WALLS OF DUBROVNIK

WALLS OF DUBROVNIK will be hard to go past, he is tipped to run a cracker. His connections are super confident and he should be another easy win. I.SANTANA who is on fire right now makes his best chance of the day. CANDLE COVE and FORT MCHENRY are for the future. ROCK MANOR can frighten the favorite. GUNNER RUNNER and BOLLINGER need to improve massively. FOLLOW SUIT is to be reviewed. TROJAN QUEST will be in the placings. It seems that all of them will hit the wall.

RACE4: MOSCHINO

A very average field, it seems to be a match between MOSCHINO and CAMP DAVID. The latter won nicely on his last outing, and would be up there again. ITALIAN WAY will do everything to favor his stable companion. B.FAYD’HERBE has had lots of critics, though there’s nothing much he did wrong but his lack of results is becoming problematic. Everything is being done to make him feel better and he promised to win on MOSCHINO. ARLINGTONS REVENGE will run an improved race. MOONRISE SENSATION will be in the placings. LUMBER JACKAROO continues to disappoint. 

RACE 5: BRILLIANT DISGUISE

One of the most open races of the day. Improvement is expected from BACKPACKER. RED MARS is dropping in class, and will be a major player. TSITSIKAMMA DANCE from the inside draw will be a big threat. The stable jockey is not riding CHARLESTON HERO, but he might be the surprise package. OVER THE ODDS needs to show more. CAPTAIN FLYNT, a recent winner will find it harder this time. Our pick is BRILLIANT DISGUISE, he made a promising debut and has trained superbly. He is taken to win this and give C.RAMDIN his first winner. D.BHEEKARY has been booked to bring him home!

RACE 6: FOOTY GOAL

It will be another main race win for R.MAINGARD after ALRAMZ and UNDERCOVER AGENT. FOOTY GOAL might prove too strong and is the classiest of the lot. He made an impressive debut and should confirm with a win. P C ORFFER makes him his best chance and R.MAINGARD rates him very highly. ZO LUCKY has a good pedigree, will do very well here. It will be hard for BREAK THE SILENCE in this field. SYDS LIAISON is a promising sort. BENEV and PFORZHEIM are to be reviewed. It will be harder for VAR’S ELUSION to replicate his recent win.

RACE 7: KALGOORLIE

This distance will be a bit too long for BADAWEE. Everytime a good race is expected from MAN FROM SEATTLE, but never really show up only promises. WHY WOULDN’T YEW will find it hard with the outside draw. COPENHAGEN continues to disappoint. CRAZY CHARLIE is rather an unpredictable sort. Watchout for STOCKBRIDGE, he will finish strongly. DESERT BOY will run a good race. A better showing is expected from DOMINO RULER. KALGOORLIE has been training like a champion, he is being tipped to run a cracker. The GUJADHUR connection expects him to run a race similar to BORYA. S.DONOHUE has turned his luck around and is confident to bag a win with KALGOORLIE.

RACE 8:COURTROOM MAGIC

COURTROOM MAGIC should have won on debut. He was heavily fancied by the A.PERDRAU stable and they are confident to win this time. COURTROOM MAGIC’s jockey hesitation last time out cost him the race. A.AUCHARAZ gives him as his best chance. RED FORCE ONE a recent winner did not convince totally. He had to dig deep in an average field. He faces tougher opposition this time. Beware of JUSTINIAN, he was an expensive purchase. We rate him as the biggest threat to the favorite. S.DONOHOE has a silent hope with him and wants to cause an upset. The rest of the field is quite mediocre.
