RACE 1: DEALER’S CHARM

Will K.KALYCHURUN make the most of his ride? That’s the big question everyone will be asking. In POINCIANA he has a golden chance to reply to the critics. We know the difficulties the jockey has to settle himself in the races and we wonder how he will with an outside draw. K.KALYCHURUN better give him a good run to not say a win. DEALER’S CHARM offers the best option, with the excellent B.FAYD’HERBE it’s a no brainer. V.ALLET will he hoping for at least a double on this Sunday. LOOSEN YOUR TIE is a very decent horse and will be good to watch his improvements. Can NEW GOLDEN AGE give A.PERDRAU his first win? It is unlikely.

RACE 2: SENOR’S GUEST

It’s now or never for SENOR’S GUEST. Unlucky in his recent outings, we can hardly see anyone getting the better of him. Though it’s true he was not given the best of runs recently, we hope N.JUGLALL is more inspired. It will be harder this time for STARSKY to make a pillar a post. The rest has a relatively poor form, it will be a surprise if they win but we never know anything can happen in Champ de Mars.

RACE3: KING OF TARA

This race seems to be a three horse affair. SILVER HERITAGE needs a strong handling, and even if N.BATCHAMEAH is constantly improving it might prove a tough task. WATCH ME DAD was unlucky on his last outing, and the jockeyship of N.JUGLALL was questionable. KING OF TARA should offer B.FAYD’HERBE, his connections are confident of a win. He has been ultra consistent and will definitely lead, he will take lots of catching. One to watch is KINGSMAN, who will be making his debut.

RACE4: MOSCHINO

It should be a good day for the V.ALLET stable, MOSCHINO will be coming at them and jockey B.FAYD’HERBE will be hoping for a super Sunday. The yard is confident of a win. TEXAS SKY will be the main danger, if he gets a soft lead he will be a menace. PADDINGTONS LUCK will need more runs to peak. THE GREY CRUSADER must show improvement to feature. It will be hard for EUROKLIDON and BLACK INDY to be competitive in this field

RACE 5: KAMADEVA

KAMADEVA will be back with a win, he kept his form but we can’t write him off. He was not disgraced against an excellent FOOLS GOLD and back on a shorter trip, he will take the power of beating. GIMMETHERAIN is an improving sort. If he is not too far from KAMADEVA, he can get the better but it will be a big task asking. S.JONES has a silent hope as well as the influential members of the stable. HAKEEM will be having J.ALLYHOSAIN and will be a factor. JOHN HANCOCK seems to lack that little extra and is to be reviewed. AFDEEK will break well, and will be in a striking position.

RACE 6: BARITONE 

We don’t have quantity in this year’s PRINCESS MARGARET CUP, but we have quality. UNDERCOVER AGENT has impressed in training, he is a changed horse. He came with a big reputation and will show his worth. From what we saw BARITONE offers the best guarantee, and C.SEGEON has a soft corner for him. He has a blistering finish, and will be there again. RULE THE NIGHT is a very capable sort not to be ignored. This time it will be harder for WALL TAG to finish in the placing. PROCAL HARUM and PIETRO MASGANI are to be reviewed.

RACE 7: TORO BRAVO

TORO BRAVO made an excellent debut, and can go one better. He is coming after a good break, can be tough if in a striking position. ZENZERO with his inside draw will be well placed, if J.ALLYHOSAIN handles the horse with vigour will definitely be there. ROCK MANOR is coming back after jockey C.SEGEON was heavily criticized. This time it will be tougher for him to feature. ROCK SPIRIT must be seen again.

RACE 8: FLOWERSCAPE

It’s now or never for FLOWERSCAPE. Beaten favorite, he is dropping in class. He did not have the best of race, but the winner DOUBLE GAMES was out of reach. In this field if he doesn’t win, we wonder when he will. Jockey D.DAVID, is unhappy at the stable and he might not stay the full season there. TYRANDEUS, a recent winner, is the best of the rest. PRIDE ROCK should have won last time, but was given a poor run by jockey S.RAMA. Watch NEWSMAN, R.GUJADHUR second runner. If there will be a surprise it will be JULLIDAR, watch how the odds will fluctuate.
