RACE 1: LOOSEN YOUR TIE

The opening race is anyone’s race. LOOSEN YOUR TIE is a legitimate favorite after showing signs of progress. JM HENRY is confident he will win this, and the in-form D.SOOFUL is in the saddle. LE QUARTIER has shown improvement in training. WHAT A KID has a strong chance, he is a genuine performer. BYPASS is in fine form, with a little bit of luck he can win this. P NAGADOO has a silent hope with him. GROBAN can cause an upset in this. MILLION DOLLAR MAN connections have strong faith that he will do well. MANETHEREN runs well fresh, watchout. It’s a very open race. A tentative vote goes to LOOSEN YOUR TIE, we strongly advise to see what the market says.

RACE 2: MAURITIUS

MAURITIUS should seal a hatrick. He has been sensational so far, stable connections and jockey is confident it’s in the bag. They believe he still has a big margin of progression. I.SANTANA makes him his best chance of the day. FORT MCHENRY is a horse with a good potential, he will be there. GLOBAL GLORY is a very decent horse, might not be for this time but will win definitely. DUKE OF YORK is a big enigma, he is rather flat footed but is never outpaced. The rest will fight for the placings.

RACE3: PRINCE OF VENICE

A very interesting third race, with many legit contenders. PRINCE OF VENICE is a sprint specialist, S.MAHADIA will try a coup with him. He has a solid reputation and game on! They are aware of the threat of CANDY APPLE on two consecutive wins. He has a terrific turn of foot, but he will need to catch PRINCE OF VENICE. MAC’N SCAR has a genuine in this having drawn on the inside.  

RACE4: WALLS OF DUBROVNIK

The WALL is back! He’s been one of the revelations this season, he is in terrific form and should bag another win. ARABIAN AIR must do more to feature. BASSAM is one for the future. CULTURE TRIP cannot be written off, if the favorite fails he will be right there. COLOUR MY FATE has done nothing wrong, is a contender. It will be difficult for the AFDEEK with the outside draw. Watch Out for CARLAS MAMBO who will do well. ROLL OF DRUMS and CHOIR OF ANGELS need to do more.

RACE 5: BACKPACKER

A very open race with many potential winners. BACKPACKER had a rather hard last time and still finished strongly. V.ALLET is confident of a win. B.FAYD’HERBE whose performances have been ups and downs has a chance to bag a confidence boosting win. RED MARS, a recent winner cannot be written off, he is in great shape.TSITSIKAMMA DANCE is in a benchmark where he will do well. It won’t be a surprise if TOWER OF WISDOM wins. CREATION and THE IT FACTOR are to be reviewed. Let’s see if ABSOLUTIST repeats his last race.

RACE 6: ROB ROY

A very competitive field, nothing much between the runners. WALL TAG is always there and should finish well if the jockey is inspired, which seems to happen not very often this season. ARIZONA SILK is in constant improvement. EHSAAN is a real threat from the inside draw. FOOLS GOLD continues to disappoint. HAYLOR and STREAM AHEAD won’t finish very far. TRIPPI’S EXPRESS ran a brave race last time, the stable was expecting more though. He is a very capable horse and in this field, he is a serious player. R.GUJADHUR gives him his best chance of the day.

RACE 7: TRAVELIN MAN

TRAVELIN MAN is in fine form, and was heavily fancied for the season debut. P C ORFFER makes him his best chance of the day and vows to win this. R.MAINGARD is equally confident in his chances. He is down in class, and is the one to beat here. STRAIGHT is an honest performer, don’t write him off. YANKEEDOODLEDANDY has a decent chance in this. PFORZHEIM is the main threat to our selection, P NAGADOO has high hopes for him. FLOWERSCAPE is rather unpredictable. TARANAKI is in the form of his life, a serious player here. 

RACE 8: JUSTINIAN

S.DONOHUE has vowed to win on JUSTINIAN before his departure, he really likes this horse and promised to win. S.DONOHUE has got an interesting offer which he just cannot turn his back on. Also with the limited resources available at GUJADHUR stable it has pushed him to see elsewhere. AFFRANCHI has shown nothing so far. OVERDOSE with the inside draw, is in with a chance. N.BATCHAMEEAH though has been under par. DREAMFOREST will be comfortable in this company, he won’t finish very far.
