RACE 1: DESERT THIEF

This is a very weak field, none of them make appeal. The two most consistent are GIMME A SWINGER and DESERT THIEF. GIMME A SWINGER unfortunately is not a sound horse, a bleeder who we expect a good race but often disappoints and returns to the stable with issues. DESERT THIEF is the most consistent of the lot and has a big chance in this. It’s a hard race to pick a winner, it would be good to see where the money is in! A long shot is to be expected in the opening.

RACE 2: FREDDIE FLINT

FREDDIE FLINT fought a brave race last time, his stable won the event but he also deserved the victory. As his trainer declared in a talk show he will make the horse win this year, it is the right time. The weight allowance from A.ROY will prove decisive. He showed last week he can follow and fire. POINCIANA was unlucky not to win last time, he had everything in his favor but even that couldn’t make it. Will it be a fifth second place in a row? GREENFLASHSUNSET was somehow unlucky will be in the mix. Keep an eye on LOONEY BIN who will do well.

RACE3: WELL CONNECTED

A very competitive race, we have a few last time winners. It will be a good contest. DONNAN surprised on his latest win, with the plum draw he will be ideally placed to conclude. DARK FORCE is ever reliable and won’t be disgraced. ROCK MANOR is upping in distance and with the outside draw it will be tougher. LAGACIO finished like a bullet, but with all the uncertainty around the GUJADHUR stable their horses are under performing. WELL CONNECTED last race is to be ignored, he has always been there since the start of the season. B.FAYD’HERBE on board will be a strong contender, the stable expects nothing less than a win.

RACE4: STAR OF ZEUS

WEST COAST WARRIOR has the distance, watchout will be there and if they money is in could possibly be the indicator a win won’t be far. IT DOESN’T MATTER a recent winner had a dream run and will finish well. With many jockeys suspended and sick, it will be good for N.JUGLALL to bridge the gap and make IT DOESN’T MATTER the best ride of the day. DEER PARK would have been the logical choice if the stable was in form, not this time. STAR OF ZEUS has been training like a champion, his connections are confident of a win. C.SEGEON has a high morale, and will conclude very well.

RACE 5: LEMON DROP SHOT

LEMON DROP SHOT is the horse to beat. He couldn’t do much against ALYASSAT, but was the best of the rest. In this form, he will take the power of beating. J.ALLYHOSAIN would have offered the best guarantee but can bring R.JOORAWON back to winning ways. MIND BLOWING will be a threat from the inside draw and his connections have a silent hope. EIGHT CITIES last outing is to be ignored, and will run an improved race. It will be worth watching PROTEA PARADISE, it might give indications what he can do in the future.

RACE 6: TRIPPI’S EXPRESS

VIRTUE was impressive to win on the sprint. He was finding more in every stride, and was responding nicely. Being upped in distance it will be more in his favor with the inside draw will be ideally placed. He will be against HENRY TUDOR again, who was not disgraced but will be tougher. PIETRO MASCAGNI has a chance in this, having caught the eye. HAYLOR is back after a long break, will be interesting to see his performance. TRIPPI’S EXPRESS an easy winner lately is not to be ignored, after the disappointment of WHITE RIVER his trainer has vowed to bring TRIPPI’S EXPRESS home. He is an improving sort and will climb in grade.

RACE 7: MANOLETE

Clearly MANOLETE is the best in this lot. Very unlucky it’s now or never for him. With a good draw he will take the power of beating. If TROJAN WINTER repeats his last run, he can challenge the favorite. SEVENTH EXPRESS is to be ignored this time, until we see clearer how things are going to end up at the GUJADHUR stable. MIDDLE PATH will need to run a much improved race to feature. The remainder does not offer much confidence.

RACE 8: BLUNDERBUSS

BLUNDERBUSS is a changed horse, will be ideally placed and has a very good chance to open his account. He’s been knocking at the door at R.JOORAWON makes him his best chance of the day. He can offer C.RAMDIN a precious victory. MIDNIGHT MESSENGER a recent winner will be there again with P.NAGADOO horses performing well lately. BEAR HUG is worthy of consideration. VALERIN was unfortunate not to win last time out and will be there again.
