RACE 1: TIGER’S BOND

A very open race here, won’t be a surprise if an extreme outsider wins this. If not on this one, there will be a few surprises during the day. We advise the racegoers to be careful. TIGER’S BOND is our pick, his last race is to be ignored. The connections are confident but the jockey is a concern. K.RAMSAMY is a talented jockey but is he fit enough? The good draw will be in his favor. SIBERIAN HUSKY has entered again, a serious player. BYPASS, a beaten favorite, cannot be written off. MILLION DOLLAR MAN ran a good race last time out, will be right there. DESERT THIEF is an honest performer.

RACE 2: ULTIMATE WARRIOR

Be careful here, ULTIMATE WARRIOR is a weak selection. Not many are showing keen interests in their chances. CRACKON is a decent horse, but the jockey doesn’t inspire much trust. OXFORD BLUE is a genuine player, a serious player. An improved race is expected from MOON JUMPER. SMUTS based on his last race is a strong each way chance. MANETHEREN is in top condition, big danger. FAIRBANKS will find it difficult with the outside draw. ULTIMATE WARRIOR is our pick here with R.GUJADHUR connections showing some interest but it’s far from being a solid chance.

RACE 3: NIMITZ

Our selection is NIMITZ, it is S.JONES best of the day and they firmly believe he has a strong chance. B.WOODWORTH gradually is improving his fitness and will be back to his best soon. He gives NIMITZ an excellent chance. SENOR’S GUEST is in the form of his life, won’t be very far. BALANTINE HALL a recent winner will find it hard without S.DONOHOE. CANARY ISLAND is a decent horse but he is rather limited. PFORZHEIM’s long overdue win finally happened on his last outing, won’t be ridiculous in this field. KALGOORLIE if not too far behind will be in the mix.
 

RACE 4: CAPTAIN GONE WILD

It’s a very open race here. It will be very hard for AFDEEK with an outside draw. WATCH ME DAD is in the form of his life, won’t finish very far. YORKTOWN will need to do more. CHAPTER AND VERSE will be in the mix. TRIP TO THE SKY is an honest performer, but not a first choice here. CHOIR OF ANGELS has passed his best. CAPTAIN GONE WILD has a solid chance here, I.SANTANA has promised to try it all. The HURCHUND stable though are quite cautious. It is anybody’s race, watch for the market movers.

RACE 5: SPECIAL BLEND

SPECIAL BLEND should have won at least one race by now. The jockeys who were onboard made some terrible mistakes. Even in the last outing he should have won. P.NAGADOO firmly believes in his chances, it’s time for N.BATCHAMEEAH to deliver. STREAM AHEAD last race is to be ignored. Watchout for BACKPACKER, B.FAYD’HERBE wants to make a coup with him. MOSCHINO is in top form but is up in class and faces stiff opposition. TSITSIKAMMA DANCE won’t finish very far.

RACE 6: ALSHIBAA

The biggest race of our racing calendar, we have a bigger field than last year but the result should be the same. ALSHIBAA is in top form, he is a pure stayer and will relish the distance. It’s a shame that P C ORFFER is not able to ride him for a ridiculous affair. He should have been given the chance to ride him as his explanations were very clear. Nevertheless R.JOORAWON has a golden chance to bring another Maiden Cup winner. R.MAINGARD is very confident to win. TWIST OF FATE is a classy subject, he has been prepared especially for the big race. B.FAYD’HERBE requested to keep his job at least for the Maiden Cup, there are rumours that it might be his last week. TWIST OF FATE without a doubt is pure class, but he is more a miler than a stayer. He will be right there up till the end. OPERA ROYAL is being tipped a cracker and will most likely be in the placings. The rest of the except for MARSHALL FOCH, are very good horses but have a stiff task in ALSHIBAA.

RACE 7: BRABANZIO

BRABANZIO should set things right, in this field he is a clear back and I.SANTANA is confident for a win like for the connections of HURCHUND stable. I.SANTANA has promised to make amends and bring him home. POINCIANA is the biggest threat to the favorite but will find it hard to resist to BRABANZIO. JALS TIGER is in excellent condition and will do well. DOUBLETHINK won’t finish too far. The rest will need to battle hard.

RACE 8: SPRY

SPRY has been training like a champion, he has a golden opportunity to open his account. He has excelled in training and will be hard to go past. R.MAINGARD believes in his chances, but he has certain reserves though. JACALAC is a good horse, improvement is expected. Don’t write off JUSTINIAN, he’s a very capable horse. If he’s not too far in the race he will give a scare to our selection. The rest will need to do more to feature.
