RACE 1: NEW GOLDEN AGE

The opening race is a tricky contest. It’s a wide open race and many make appeal. More and more gossip about PERDRAU stable breaking the ice is taking place over. The trainer is confident and that’s why R.JOORAWON was booked. Recently R.JOORAWON was a prized asset, but lately not many are trusting him. Some are saying the jockey is acting like a superstar and it’s time to get him straight. His stable companion CAPTAIN MOSS will be there to make sure to provide cover for NEW GOLDEN AGE. BLUNDERBUSS a recent winner is not fancied this time, he might not finish in the placings. VALERIN one of the most consistent of the lot is not attracting punters. SPECIAL FORCE ran a fantastic race, but K.KALYCHURUN is a big question mark.

RACE 2: RIVER THAMES

This one of the most competitive races on the card, we cannot write off any of the runners. DO OR DARE was unlucky last time out, or we can say his jockey was not inspired. With a good draw, he’s taken to make amends. The inside draw should help him to secure a striking position. RIVER THAMES a recent winner can make it two a row. This time the stable is very confident as it and the horse will move up the ratings. Jockey J.ALLYHOSSAIN is equally confident to bring him home. MEMPHIS MAFIA has been training well, but some rides of P C ORFFER are questionable, he might come late again. TYRIAN is to be ignored this time. KALGOORLIE will finish well. This time it will be more difficult for DEALER’S CHARM.

RACE3: CARLA’S MAMBO

CARLA’S MAMBO is coming after a break, he has all in his favor to confirm. Both jockey and stable are confident and they make him their best chance of the day. He’s been very impressive in training and should easily bag this one. ZIG ZAGI ZUGI is an honest performer and should be there again. Progress is expected from AFFRANCHI. WHY WOULDN’T YEW will make his presence felt, not a priority.

RACE4: TORO BRAVO

TORO BRAVO is coming for a hat trick, and it’s within reach. He is full of promise and can improve more. Easy winner last time out will be tough to beat. This race has some fast pace setters in GREAT STOHVANEN and EMERALD BAND. The latter is not to be written off, B.FAYD’HERBE seems not to be his best lately and the racing public is having doubts on his trustworthiness. HARMONICA with the inside draw is one to follow. NINOTTO last race is to be ignored, and will run a much improved race.

RACE 5: ALL ABORAD

ALL ABOARD is reunited with J.ALLYHOSAIN, we know the pair make sparks. This time he is blessed with an inside draw and will be a tough nut to crack. VIKING TRAIL is coming back after a controversial race, this time the yard is less confident. LIGHTHEARTED disappointed last time out, he will offer a better showing. CHARLESTON HERO can make the frame.

RACE 6: CHOIR OF ANGELS

CHOIR OF ANGELS is a changed horse this year. He nearly made a hat-trick last time, when he was supposedly off form. His trainer is using his trump card, and they desperately need a win to make the members happy. MAMO ROCK is a real danger in this, he finished second in his last three outings and N.TEEHA is confident to bring him home. GIMMETHERAIN has the unreliable K.KALUCHURUN on board. We wonder why he is still given a chance after his poor rides, not to say suspicious. SHADOWING is a gutsy horse, and we can be sure he won’t give in without a fight.

RACE 7: MARAUDING

What a fantastic main event we have! With some of the most in form runners it will be a beauty to watch. RULE THE NIGHT doesn’t seem to be a priority this time, he’s rather unpredictable. BARITONE is a 1400m specialist, unlucky last time he should have made it three in a row. He would have been our pick if it was not for MARAUDING. The latter is a star, and would have been unbeaten if not for a catastrophic ride of I.CHISTY. He showed his class and is so handy that if well ridden it would be hard to beat. VASCOSTREETTRACTOR is a genuine sort, very highly esteemed by his yard. It should be a MARAUDING show!

RACE 8: DARK FORCE

POINCIANA is the logical pick in this race, but we all know the Champ de Mars often offer surprises. POINCIANA won as expected last time but he also showed he still has to be matured. His yard gives him a very good chance but don’t want to take a risk with him in the betting. DARK FORCE on the hard is down in class, he will be placed in the race. His trainer has a silent hope to upset the odds. Place chance at best for KU DU TU. Could the outsider of the day be INTERNET KID, with the plum draw and weight it will be a catch me if you can. A chance is taken on MINNESOTA DREAM, as per his entourage they expect a win. G.ROUSSET makes him his best chance of the day.

RACE 9: PRIDE ROCK

This last race is a pandora box, the one who can tell the winner is a genius. C.DABY has two runners and he wants to make a coup with PRIDE ROCK and SILVER SONG will do everything to give his stable companion the best chances. AMANDLA last race is to be ignored, will be a big factor in this. D.DAVID makes MIDDLE PATH his best chance of the day. BOUCLETTE TOP might be in his final season, and this trip will be more in his favor. He might be his stable a win before taking a bow. Better to watch any market moves, it will give a good indication who will run for the money.
