RACE 1: HIT THE GREEN

The opening event is an open contest. Many contenders and each one have a decent chance to make the frame. TEMP THE TIGER is taken to run a good race. He has arguments against his recent mediocre performances but his connections are confident he will be there. A.SONARAM has run very satisfactory races, a win for him is not far. TOP OF THE ROCK has an inside draw, if he repeats his last race he will be a contender. XANTHUS always lack that little bit extra, and we cannot write him off completely. HIT THE GREEN has been on excent form, a win is looming. He is the best of the lot, the yard is confident on a good showing.

RACE 2: DUKE OF YORK

DUKE OF YORK is one of the best acquisitions this year. His previous race has been encouraging and is tipped to do even better. He has been training well. His connections are confident a win is near. With the forthcoming suspension of PCO, he promised to create sparks this week for his fans. CRAZY CHARLIE is very well regarded by his entourage, he will win but his time has not come yet. WHAT A KID had a decent race and progress is expected. There are two debutants, it will be good to see how they perform.

RACE3: SACRED NIGHT

A very interesting race, where all stands a chance except for MANETHEREN. BOLD PHOENIX did nothing wrong so far, he will be there again. JALS TIGER a recent winner, this time it will be tougher for him. He will not finish in the placings. TRAVELIN MAN made a good debut, progress is expected and might bag a win before the end of the season. LUCKY AT LAST a recent winner too has not the favor of the punters, he was heavily backed on his last outing. FLOWERSCAPE has been a bit disappointing, when he was a hot favorite. SACRED NIGHT is taken to make amends, B.FAYD’HERBE has vowed to redeemed himself.

RACE4: DEER PARK

DEER PARK is a specialist of  1850m, a second consecutive win is likely. GUJADHUR stable seemed to be doing better, the horses are re-discovering their form. DEER PARK is one of the fittest and they are confident to get the better of the rest. MR GREEN STREET was somehow unlucky, R.MAINGARD has a silent hope of winning this race but he has better options on the day for a win. OVERDOSE is a summer horse, watch out for an upset. MOSCHINO has been super consistent, but the time the stable is not that confident. One to watch closely is PADDINGTONS LUCK, he’s been improving and he should win very soon.

RACE 5: DYNAMITE JACK

The curious case of D.DAVID and DYNAMITE JACK. It seems to be a love and hate affair between the two. The stable has chosen to give J.ALLYHOSAIN the ride as D.DAVID rides was far from convincing. KING OF TARA with the outside draw will be a big task asking. BONNIE PRINCE a recent winner is to be ignored. SKIP THE RED is favorite of trainer R.MAINGARD, this time will be a more difficult for him to win but will be finish close. BESTDAY OF MYLIFE surprised many with a convincing win is the dark horse of the race. He can definitely win this.

RACE 6: CONSUL OF WAR

CONSUL OF WAR is coming after a good break. He caught the eye on his recent wins, if he is not too far in the race will be a big factor. We never know what to expect from I.CHISTY, everything will depend on how he rides. The ever reliable LEMON DROP SHOT won’t be far from the winner. INN A MILLION is to be ignored. A better race is expected from PROTEA PARADISE, and if the money comes he will win. If EIGHT CITIES gets a soft lead, he can go all the way. We sense there will be an upset in this race, watch for the market.

RACE 7: IDITAROD TRAIL

UNDERCOVER AGENT won on his last outing but did not totally convinced. He had to dig deep and with the top weight it won’t be easy to hold on to the lead. IDITAROND TRAIL is very much liked by the ROUSSET stable and N.JUGLALL. They are confident to win this and the horse is in the form of his life. OPERA ROYAL is inching closer to a win, it won’t be a surprise if he wins. BLACK CAT BACK is coming after sustaining some serious health problems will need this run.

RACE 8: DONNAN

DONNAN labored hard to win in his last outing. He had a complicated race but still won. With the exception of PROMISSORY the other runners are rather weak, he can make it three in a row. IRON WOLF nearly caused an upset, if he repeats the race he will be a factor. PROMISSORY is a honest performer, with the plum draw he will finish close again. One to watch is BLOW IN THE BOX, he is vastly improved his condition. A surprise in this race will be him.

RACE 9: MANOLETE

MANOLETE deserves a win. When A.SONARAM was booked, he was tipped to win. Unfortunately the inexperience of the apprentice cost him the race. This time he has the stable jockey on board, and better is expected. Each of his outings it’s been a now or never story, a bold bid is expected. COME ON SONNY will be there again, but the outside draw might make the task tougher. NEWSMAN is a honest performer and will finish in the placings. MR MOGAMBO is an enigma so far, it seems no one has been able to know what’s the best for him.
