RACE 1: XANTHUS

We have sounded the stables and we could not find anything significant. BARAK LAVAN will most likely be in front. SIR CAPERS can finish in the places. MIDNIGHT ORACLE has a decent chance. STARSKY is far from his top form. NEWSMAN cannot be written off. LADY’S KNIGHT has been rather disappointing. C.RAMDIN believes NIGHTINGALE LANE has a decent chance. XANTHUS ‘last race is to be ignored, P.MERVEN believes he has a good chance to win this. BARKING IRONS has made a miracle comeback, a lot of rumours around him.

RACE 2: WHY WOULDN’T YEW

A very interesting race with many unknown factors which makes it more tricky. NEVER FEAR is back after a long lay off, he is super consistent. He might need this run to improve his fitness. CRACKON and MR HARDY are to be reviewed. ARNICA MONTANA is an improving sort, will be right there. GLOBAL GLORY needs time to regain condition, a very capable horse. THE BASTILLE has changed yards, to watch. R.MAINGARD has targeted this race, WHY WOULDN’T YEW is back after a break and is in top form. P C ORFFER is confident he can steer him home.

RACE 3: ITDAWNEDONME

CRIMSON GOD and DRAGEDA are to be reviewed. GOOD BUDDY has a very good chance in this, but he faces some strong competition. Improvement is expected from ANDERSON. MEMPHIS is in fine form, but it seems his connections are rather cautious with him. KEIKO is not a priority. CRAZY CHARLIE is a very capable horse, and will go close. Our is ITDAWNEDONME, he has been training like a star and is in top form. He is taken to deliver the goods again. S.HURCHUND runners are rather consistent in their performance, a double is on the card for ITDAWNEDONME.

RACE 4: MAN FROM SEATTLE

This is quite a strange race, with most of them not inspiring much faith. PIN DROP is the legitimate favorite, but at this odds not worth taking the risk. P NAGADOO does fancy him, but for us we rather sit back and enjoy some popcorn. TALISMAN is a newcomer with good potential. TARANAKI is in a class where he will feel comfortable. TYRIAN and ZENO need to improve. TICKET TO CAIRO is a decent outsider. A tentative vote goes to MAN FROM SEATTLE. R.GUJADHUR believes he can scare the hot favorite.

RACE 5: G I JOE

A competitive race with a few of them who strong claims. SIX DEGREES merits the greates respect, he is in fine form cannot be written off prematurely. SYDS LIAISON is a solid place bet. BESTDAY OF MYLIFE is a honest performer will be in the mix. PADDINGTONS LUCK will be a threat if he gets a soft lead. INAUGURATION is down in grade, a serious player. TAKE ON ME and LICKERIO are just outsiders. G I JOE is our pick here, it’s not a secret that S.MAHADIA keep him in very high esteem. He has every chance to win this and give S.MAHADIA stable his first win.

RACE 6: ABSOLUTIST

Here also there are a few of them with genuine chances. ALL ABOARD ran a very good race last time, with the first draw he is a serious player. SNOWY MOUNTAIN is on the up, a good race is expected from him. SIR BERNARDINI and OVER THE ODDS are to be reviewed. LUNAFACATION was a surprise winner, and will lead most likely. LIVERPOOL CHAMP and ARLINGTONS REVENGE are strong candidates in this lot. Our pick here is ABSOLUTIST, A.SEWDYAL firmly believes he is a much better horse in this field and should win this smartly.

RACE 7: TSITSIKAMMA DANCE

S.RAMA made a special request to R.MAINGARD for his ride. He has helped a lot with the R.MAINGARD stable and has been rewarded with this mount. TSITSIKAMMA DANCE is in fine form and is a solid candidate. His connections fancy him to win. HAYLOR won’t finish too far. WALL TAG is a horse with a big heart, he will be in the shake up. DUTCH ALLEY and STOPALLTHECLOCKS are just outsiders. An improved race is expected from OTTOMAN EMPIRE. HUBBLE has a big chance in this if he leads but that might not be the case.

RACE 8: REMUS

REMUS needs no introduction, he is in top form and he should bag a third consecutive win. S.HURCHUND firmly believes he will be too hot to handle. POINCIANA will find it hard on a longer trip. STRAIGHT has a place chance. MATCHLESS CAPTAIN will need to improve a lot to finish in the top three. Nothing much separates the other runners.

RACE 9: NEW ABBEY

NEW ABBEY is head and shoulders above the rest in this field. He might not necessarily lead, but will follow closely. I.SANTANA is hoping for a treble on the card. MASTER OF DISGUISE, INTOTHEMYSTIC and DIGITAL FORTRESS cannot be trusted. LITE OF MY LIFE will need to improve. BADAWEE has been well prepared, if there will be a surprise it will be him. COUP FOR LUTE will like the short sprint for a start. TROJAN QUEST might finish in the placings.
