RACE 1: MISTY ROLLER

The opening race is very interesting, a few of them can legitimately challenge for the win. OPAGUE is a very good prospect, his last run showed his capabilities. He will go close again, the stable though believes he has still a big margin for progression and is rather cautious with him. J M HENRY tried to do a coup with TOP OF THE ROCK two runs ago, won’t be this time. NIGHTINGALE LANE is to be reviewed, his win was a one off performance. VALERIN goes in with a decent chance, but DABY stable has all eyes on MISTY ROLLER. The apprentice allowance will be a big advantage and has a plum draw. A.SONARAM is riding with confidence, many are predicting he will be the next superstar of the Champ de Mars.

RACE 2: HARDWIRED

TAKE OFF MODE is coming for a second consecutive week, he was so impressive last time out. His connections are confident he will easily win back to back. D.BHEEKARY is confident that he will win, as TAKE OFF MODE was not pushed to his maximum. There are two horses that need to be watched closely, DUKE OF YORK and HARDWIRED. DUKE OF YORK has been disappointing so far, he is by far the best in the lot. It will be worth watching how the odds fluctuate. HARDWIRED can offer A.PERDRAU his first win. He has been trained to kill, it won’t be a surprise if he wins. It will be now or never for A.PERDRAU to break the ice! BIRTHDAY BOY has been a huge disappointment so far. Beware of the P N NAGADOO horses, it is being said they booked two good jockeys for a reason one will pass the line first.

RACE3: WEST COAST WARRIOR

The GUJADHUR stable makes him their best chance of the day. Although he has been drawn outside, they firmly believe he is good enough to win. His last run was a walk in the park, there’s more to come from him. A.AUCHARAZ is in fine form, with his morale high it will make the difference. A.SEWDYAL will try a coup with OVERDOSE after the failed attempt of TILL DAWN last week. N.JUGLALL has his eye on the jockey championship, he vowed to try hard with all his mounts. HIGH KEY is one to watch closely, if the money is in he will be right there. WEST COAST WARRIOR time for a win is overdue. He is now ready to cross the winning line first. The stable won’t take anything less than a win.

RACE4: SKIP THE RED

This one of the most open races, there are a few contenders. Our vote goes to APOLLO STAR, his connections are confident as well as jockey M.MARTINEZ. He vowed to bring him home and said he will have the edge over BOLD PHOENIX. The latter has been very consistent this season, we can’t write off. His yard though is not as confident as last time. The reason is because of the outside draw and there are a few horses in his inside who breaks from the stall rather quickly. SKIP THE RED has drawn the ace, he seems to rediscover his form. It will be harder for him this time, but if he gets a dream run he will be coming at them. JALS TIGER is to be ignored.SKIP THE RED has rediscovered his form after some serious injuries, both stable and jockey are confident.

RACE 5: BESTDAY OF MYLIFE

BESTDAY OF MYLIFE was the beaten favorite last time. He did not have the easiest of runs, I.CHISTY has vowed to win on him. He certainly has the distance, the stable is also confident. He might get the run of the race, and if that’s the case he will be a tough nut to crack. ALL ABOARD was well supported on his last run, and was rather flat in the straight. CYBER SPECIAL has a good chance in this. We wonder if N.JUGLALL will know when to push the button and most importantly make the right move. It will be hard for STAR OF ZEUS to feature this time. If there will be a surprise in this race, it will be JET STREAM.

RACE 6: TORO BRAVO

TORO BRAVO will be hard to beat. His last two wins were impressive, he is clearly above here. A.AUCHARAZ gives him as his best chance. He is super confident and the draw does not scare him. He should be too good in this field. WATCH ME DAD will be his main challenger, he is the only one who can possibly give him a scare. MAC’N SCAR has been progressing, further improvement is expected. The rest will need to do a lot more to feature.

RACE 7: BLACKBURN ROC

This race is wide open, like many this Saturday. It’s good to see the races with the maximum number of runners. The seventh race is a very competitive one. EMERALD BAND won in record time, in training he has been superb. He has been one of the stars this season and V.ALLET outstanding performer. We all know the circumstances in which he lost his races. He was squeezed, brushed,….well his opponents did everything to diminish his chances. If he is given a fair chance, he will be tough to beat. This distance seems a bit long for KAMADEVA. ARABIAN AIR has been rather disappointing lately. It will be harder for SEA AIR to feature this time. ALL ABOUT THE BASS with the outside draw will have to do it all. BLACKBURN ROC was magnificent in his last outing, he has kept his form will be a big danger. N.JUGLALL rates him as his best chance of the day and promised it as a birthday gift to his son. SHADOWING won’t give in without a fight.

RACE 8: VIRTUE

We wonder how VIRTUE lost last time, it seems the P.MERVEN stable was not happy about the ride of C.SEGEON. It’s because he was too confident for the win, and we know very well in horse racing you should always be on your guard. VIRTUE has been training like a champion, he will be tough to beat. RULE THE NIGHT seems to have lost his cutting edge. AL MARIACHI cannot be trusted in this grade. EHSAAN seems to gradually improve his form, but with S.RAMA on board it’s hard to fancy him. BARRACK STREET cannot be written off.

RACE 9: SILVER SONG

SILVER SONG is tipped to make it two in a row. He was full of running on his last win, he will make the frame again. Although the stable is less confident this time, he can still make it. ITALIAN WAY is a big threat in this race, it seems B.FAYD’HERBE knows how to take the best out of him. The V.ALLET connections are also aware of his limitations and they think it will be hard for him this time and they know SILVER SONG is a better horse. It seems lately jockeys I.CHISTY and B.FAYD’HERBE are in a tug of war. MINNESOTA DREAM cannot be trusted. BLUNDERBUSS, a recent winner, is a no-go.

RACE 10: EL PATRON

Most of the runners of the canceled race last week feature in this one. ZENO is making his debut, there’s a lot of good things being said about him. He might need this run though. STRAIGHT did nothing wrong this year, with the allowance of the A.SONARAM he will be right there. MASTER JAY is to be reviewed. Beware of MARULA, he is the one that can cause an upset. VERY VARY is in with a good chance, the stable does not fancy him a lot this time. EL PATRON was tipped to run a cracker last week, he has been training well and kept his form. If he takes the lead, it will take a lot to run him down. His connections are confident he will be right up there even with a bad draw as he can also run handy.
