RACE 1: CAPTAIN MOSS

A very interesting first race, no one stands out in the opening event. MISTY ROLLER has an excellent chance, A.SONARAM has shown what he is capable of. He is growing in confidence, and will be right there. The stable though is less confident, the reason is because of the outside draw he will have to battle to secure a good position. SIERRA REDWOOD has a big chance in this, if he repeats his last race he won’t give in without a fight. CAPTAIN MOSS is our pick, as there seems to be a positive feeling around the A.PERDRAU stable. They nearly made it on HARDWIRED last week, they are confident that CAPTAIN MOSS can go all the way. R.JOORAWON has vowed to give it all.

RACE 2: MARK TAPLEY

It’s hard to analyse this race, none of them makes appeal. MINALOUSHE VENTURE is down in class, cannot be ignored. YANKEE FORCE will run an improved race. THE RIDDLER is hard to follow. XANTHUS based on his last outing will make the frame. DOUBLE GRATITUDE will need a lot more to feature. A chance is taken here on MARK TAPLEY, B.FAYD’HERBE has taken lots of patience with this horse. He has personally supervised his training and he will try a coup to please the real MARK TAPLEY.

RACE3: AMANDLA

It’s now or never for AMANDLA, the J M HENRY connections are very confident for a win. J.ALLYHOSAIN has been booked to put all the chances on their side. J M HENRY has had a rather tough season, they want to end on a good note to make their members happy. GORDONSTOUN has excellent chances, A.AUCHARAZ has vastly improved. He should have been there, should have made the frame. DUNZIE’s recent form  is very good, and cannot be written off. The rest will have to do a lot to win this.

RACE4: TILL DAWN

TILL DAWN was somehow unlucky in his last outing. He could not secure a good position in the race and had to wait till late before making a move. He finished very well, and the trainer was upset as he didn’t really have a chance. Both M.MARTINEZ and A.SEWDYAL have vowed only for a win. DECLARATOR form this season has been consistent, he can make the frame. ZENZERO should go close, he has shown signs of improvement and has been training really well. Beware of STOCKBRIDGE, if there will be a surprise it will be him.

RACE 5: NAO FAZ MAL

NAO FAZ MAL will take the power of beating. The horse has been training like a champion, and he is ripe enough for the win. R.GUJADHUR gives him their best chance of the weekend. D.DAVID has decided to resign, though we know it’s been a while he was not happy and he did not have the trust of certain members. The reason behind D.DAVID resignation is NAO FAZ MAL, he was disgusted to learn that J.ALLYHOSAIN has been booked, and he as was the first jockey was disregarded. It will be hard for others to feature, KU DU TU and MR HARDY are the ones who can give him a scare.

RACE 6: TRIP TO THE SKY

TRIP TO THE SKY was heavily fancied last time, he is back to make amends. We know that J.ALLYHOSAIN is suspended for the last meeting, he promised to his fans he would create havoc in the Champ de Mars this Saturday. WELL CONNECTED needs a good race, he has been overaced this season. BADAWEE is an in and out performer. HARMONICA on his day can go all the way. The rest will need to battle hard to feature.

RACE 7: OVATION AWARD

Make no mistake, N.JUGLALL opting for OVATION AWARD says it all. In the G.ROUSSET camp they are super confident he will run a cracker. OVATION AWARD is highly regarded by his connections. It’s unfortunate he had some health issues but he is back at his best. He will be tough to beat. HAYLOR is gradually getting form, but it might be too soon for him. MAMBO ROCK is the main challenger to his stable companion.

RACE 8: HIT THE GREEN

A rather average field here, HIT THE GREEN did nothing wrong but he hasn’t convinced many. In this field he should get better. P C ORFFER is confident for the win and R.MAINGARD is expecting a good race. KINGS EMPIRE if reproduces his last run will be a threat. SARAH’S SECRET is a serious player at this level. It might be hard for PHILOSOPHER in this company. KIMBERLEY merits consideration.

RACE 9: MR MOGAMBO

The most competitive race on the card, MR MOGAMBO time has come which seems to believe his trainer. M.MARTINEZ is confident to bring him home. FLOWERSCAPE is not to be ignored, having got rid of D.DAVID. TOP OF THE ROCK is a decent place chance. NAPOLI cannot  be written off, he showed what he is capable of at this level. Beware of TIGER’S BOND, can be the surprise of the day.
