RACE 1: NEWSMAN

NEWSMAN was quite unlucky last time, he found the daylight quite late and finished like a bullet. The problem with him is that most of the time he encountered traffic problems/unlucky some way or another. He should have won more races, let’s hope J.ALLYHOSAIN will steer him home. He is confident as well as stable. ROCHESTER impressed last time, we can’t right him off he will be there again. The rest of the field can all feature, let’s see where the money is in!

RACE 2: XENON

WINTER GUARD might prove too strong in this field, the only hurdle seems to be the jockey. S.RAMA was heavily criticized for his rides and especially on PATROL OFFICER. He seems to lack inspiration, and for a jockey of his experience it’s a concern. That apart, A.SEWDYAL is very confident and they are on! INTOTHEMYSTIC has been heavily backed, with an in-form yard and jockey. The mood around the stable is ectasic, and they will try a coup! YANKEE FORCE is back to back wins, though this time the connections are less confident. J.ALLYHOSAIN thinks he has better chances for the day. XENON is making his debut, R.MAINGARD is confident to make a coup. The connections are very satisfied of his work and are quite confident will get the better of the favorite.

RACE3: MEMPHIS MAFIA

A very competitive field with many pretenders. MEMPHIS MAFIA drew one again, he’s been lucky in the draw lately. He is in top condition, and his connections are confident for a hat trick. He might prove too good again! P C ORFFER rates him highly. VIKING TRAIL is super consistent, it will be his first outing of the season and this will do him a lot of good. EDGE OF THE SUN beaten favorite last time will find it tough in this field. We all know in what circumstances PADDINGTONS LUCK won last time, though he is in top form, it will be tough for him to replicate his last run. One to watch is POTAWATOMI, he’s been training well. It seems SEA DANCE will be a big runner, his connections are confident. He will take the first run and the rest need to be strong to catch up but he will need to resist MEMPHIS MAFIA.

RACE4: MAMBO ROCK

The fourth race is a pandora box, with many potential winners. CONSUL OF WAR is a genuine sort, he always gives his best. The reason why S.RAMA has been booked, is because he needs a strong handling. He will need this run. HUBBLE is down in class, the distance is perfect for him. With one race under his belt, he will be much fitter but we prefer to watch him again. Beware of CHARLESTON HERO, B.FAYD’HERBE will try a coup with him. BIG VOICE JACK, heavily backed won’t be a surprise if win this with an in-form stable and jockey. Our vote goes to MAMBO ROCK, G.ROUSSET makes him the best chance of the day and R.BHAUGEEROTEE is entrusted to bring him home. 

RACE 5: PRINCE OF VENICE

PRINCE OF VENICE will take the power of beating. D.SOOFUL has been booked, he is in terrific form and should be an easy win for him. PRINCE OF VENICE is one of the best buys of S.MAHADIA this season. The stable connections are confident and expect nothing less than a win. The main challenger will be PRINCE OF PERSIA, he has been training well and is a threat to favorite. HUYSSTEEN is an in and out performer, the confidence is not in the R.GUJADHUR yard. We have three newcomers, it will be good to see what they are capable of.

RACE 6: BREAK THE SILENCE

The three year old’s will be in action in the main event. OXFORD BLUE is highly rated by his yard, progress is expected. He will win this season and is the main threat to our selection. FOOTY GOAL is the classiest of the lot, R.MAINGARD is very confident for the win. P.C ORFFER has had a rather good start of the season, last week was somehow disappointing. He better deliver the goods before it gets sour for him. BREAK THE SILENCE was green and one paced on his debut. It seems he is still learning but the trainer is confident that he is better focused. They are optimistic he will run a cracker, he’s clearly the one to beat! There are four horses who are making their debuts, it’s unlikely it will be a winning start for them.

RACE 7: MASTER JAY

HARDWIRED won convincingly and stayed on. He didn’t seem to be tired at any point and went all the way. He will run a brave race again, his connections are confident. K.KALYCHURUN is getting a lot of stick lately, rightly so. In some races his rides are questionable, that will cost him the race. NIKHILS INN is a strong contender in this one. Though he would have preferred a shorter trip, he will be up there. Watchout with J.ALLYHOSAIN on board! Same can be said for MASTER JAY, S.DONOHUE impressed but it seems luck is not on his side. S.DONOHUE promised this race to his fans. He will try it all on MASTER JAY. All the lights are green to break the bad omen. COPENHAGEN continues to disappoint, he will be in the placings but the win will be a big ask.

RACE 8: SIBERIAN HUSKY

The most open race of the day, we can make a case for each one. The market will be a good indication where the money is in. A tentative vote goes to SIBERIAN HUSKY, D.BHEEKARY makes him the best chance of the day. C.RAMDIN has a silent hope with him. FLOWERSCAPE beaten hot favorite last time out, he was a big disappointment. It seems he is rather one pace, it’s not impossible for him in this mediocre field. An improved race is expected from LEAD SINGER and MR GREEN STREET. It will be tougher this time for DREAMFOREST. CRUSHING FORCE is to be watched again.
